It is delightful to think about the rich heritage and diversity of what we lay people tend to think of as mostly “green growing things.” Also, my favorites: the word polypodiopsida and the image of an Art Deco alien
Ooh how exciting! The Equisetum was at a relatively low altitude, by the Lac de Tueda just outside the heart of the national park. The moonwort was higher, in the heart, around 2300m.
