I was in France this time of year last year. What delights around every bend, so many blooms! Still muddy and grey in the north of America but we are getting there. Do you have Red Buds? Those blooms are edible, too.
What do you know, today I realized there actually are redbud trees in bloom right down the street from my office! Wish I could attach a photo here. (I tried a flower but it was a bit acrid, not sure if I chose the best one.)
I really appreciate these compiled diary entries, it's such a perfect way to watch the turning of the seasons, and also to see what marvels catch your eye. The language you use to describe things can be breathtakingly poetic, too, which makes the whole a must-read. Thank you!
